Hello all! (This is little Matías to the left.)
I have great news. Both prayer request have been answered!
1) The problem with the breakfast center and Gerardo was a huge misunderstanding. It turns out that someone simply did not tell the truth. The person who was in charge of the breakfast didn't like Gerardo for whatever reason and made a mountain out of a molehill.
What really happened was Gerardo was getting the property in his name because the government could give it away at any moment with all of our hard work resting right on top of it! Since the government doesn't like "religious groups", he put it in his name because he works with a government group. Now we have the land and no one can take it away. Thank God for that! Secondly, the truck was given to Gerardo and the rehab center to use. I was talking with Eliseo (the owner of the truck) and he said that he gave it to Gerardo many months ago.
Like I said before, the person who was in charge just didn't like him. When will people learn that the truth is the only way!?! This person has been replaced. From now on, Paul and I are in full charge of the breakfast center.
Please pray for Paul and I as we move forward with God's work in the children's breakfast center.
2) My friend Samy's babies are doing better! Little Matías was released while Elisa and I were taking care of him! We were watching over him in San Pedro so his parents could be together with Eva in Torreón. He was released with great health late Tuesday afternoon! The new-born, Eva, started breathing on her own Thursday afternoon!!! Samy told me yesterday that she's getting better and he seemed slightly relieved. Please continue to keep Eva prayers. She's still not out of the hospital. We have a great and powerful God!
