The baseball team, Los Vaqueros Laguna have done it! Today, they have beaten the toughest team in the north zone!
Los Diablos Rojos played against the Vaqueros this afternoon at 12. The game was in the bag! By the second inning, the Vaqueros led 9-0. When it was all said and done, the final score was 15 Vaqueros, 2 Los Diablos Rojos. God is great and greatly to be praised!
It is amazing to see what happens when people take God's Word to heart and put it into practice. The final out of the game was caught by a Vaquero player. He immediately dropped to the grass, pointing up and giving thanks to God. My heart filled with joy as I saw this take place because I know the man who did it. God has worked in his life this season.
Keep the Vaqueros team in your prayers. They move on to the final round of play offs against Saraperos de Saltillo Tuesday 11. This is not as tough of a team to play, but anything can happen. Pray that God will continue to receive the honor and glory for these games. If they beat Saraperos de Saltillo, they are in the Mexican World Series!!!
Be praying for Juan Gerardo and I as we will be ministering to the teams Friday 14th. Pray that God will have His way and move through us.
